This call for projects is aimed at supporting incoming and outgoing international and overseas mobility projects for scientists working on the themes of the FORESTT program. It will support international exchanges to facilitate the integration of researchers working on the PEPR themes into the international community, promote the dissemination of our knowledge, tools, and models, acquire scientific and technical skills, and foster the internationalization of work linked to one of the four scientific axes of the PEPR FORESTT, and potentially one of the projects funded by the PEPR (focal projects or projects funded through the call for projects managed by the ANR).
This mobility call is not limited to participants of projects already funded by the PEPR FORESTT: it is open to the entire scientific community working on the scientific themes of the program (staff on fixed-term or permanent contracts) wishing to carry out:
-
Either an incoming or overseas mobility towards an institution eligible for PEPR funding;
-
Or an outgoing or overseas mobility from one of these same eligible institutions.
This « Managing Institution », eligible for PEPR funding, will have to be a
French organization supervising the host research unit (case 1.)
or the home research unit (case 2.) of the candidate. The project will therefore be subject to the
management rules of this institution for the preparation and execution of the mission, as well as to the
financial regulations of the National Research Agency (ANR) for PEPR.
Requested funding: The amount funded will range from 2,500 euros to 9,500 euros.
Duration of mobility: Priority will be given to projects lasting between 1 and 4 months.
Dates of mobility: The stay must take place between October 2025 and September 2026.
As part of its policy to protect the nation's scientific and technical potential (PPST), the French government has set up a system to protect its research establishments and organizations. In this respect, incoming missions for foreign nationals, as well as overseas missions for persons requiring access to premises classified as « Zone à régime restrictif (ZRR) », will be subject to the approval of the Defence Security Officer (DSO) of the institution managing the mission. His or her opinion will be sought following the decision to award mobility grants (with a return period of up to several weeks, months in some cases); it will condition payment of the grant and the possibility of carrying out the assignment within the framework of the FORESTT PEPR.
It is important to note that
the following documents must be submitted to the email address communication.forestt@inrae.fr no later than one month after returning from the mission
:
-
A short public report (approximately 1 page) and 1 to 3 photos, which will be highlighted as part of a PEPR FORESTT update (newsletter, social media, website, etc.) and used to justify, if required, the expenses to the ANR ;
-
An affidavit stating the final cost of the mission (which, if the managing institution is a partner in the PEPR governance project, will enable the mission to be reimbursed a posteriori, based on real expenses).
- In addition, incoming scientists will be invited to contribute to events organized by the PEPR FORESTT.
