International Mobility Grant - PEPR FairCarboN

International mobility grants for inbound/outbound scientists who are working on carbon dynamics in continental ecosystems

International Mobility Grant - PEPR FairCarboN

FairCarboN thus awards international mobility grants to support inbound/outbound researchers working on one or more of PEPR FairCarboN's four research axes.

Applicants may have ties to a FairCarboN-funded project.
That said, grant eligibility is not restricted to participants in FairCarboN-funded projects. The international mobility grant programme welcomes applications from scientists, postdoctoral fellows, or doctoral PhD students who would like to benefit from inbound/outbound mobility from January 2025 to December 2025 in relation to a French research unit. However, the proposed research MUST relate to FairCarboN’s focal research themes.

Important note: The proposed research will occur under the supervision of the French governmental organisation responsible for the applicant’s host research unit (inbound mobility) or home research unit (outbound mobility). Consequently, all aspects of the exchange must comply  with the administrative and financial requirements of the host organisation.

FairCarboN is also committed to promoting equality and eliminating discrimination in professional settings. As part of our efforts to foster equality, diversity, and inclusion within our community, we encourage applications from individuals with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

Should you be awarded an international mobility grant, you will be required to submit a short report (~300 words) after the completion of your research exchange. This report will be posted on FairCarboN’s website and will serve as evidence of grant productivity to the French National Research Agency (ANR). In addition, inbound grant recipients may be asked to participate in FairCarboN events.
The minimum amount awarded is 1,000 euros.

Duration of mobility: priority is given to projects lasting between 2 weeks and three months.
